Nutrition Information
Healthy Ally
Pears are a source of energy because they are high in natural sugars, and they also provide fiber and vitamin C. They have pectine in their composition, which is a soluble fiber that soothes heavy digestion. They help regulate arterial pressure and reduce the probabilities of suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
Pears can be eaten alone, in fruit salads, prepared as compote or baked in the oven, wine poached, and they can be added to vegetable purée, among other options.
